This course complies with the California Department of Justice requirements for licensed security officers to legally possess and use tear gas and OC (pepper spray) while on duty.
Upon successful completion, students will:
Receive tear gas and OC spray certification
Be issued a wallet card confirming certification, as required for on-duty use
This training focuses on safe handling, legal use, and real-world application of OC spray for effective less-lethal force.
